In Muro, Sant Antoni starts early on 16 January with the dimonis (devils) doing their round at 9:00, and around 17:00 comes the encalçadimonis: the devils search the town for the saint. At 20:00 the Saig Major (town crier) opens the fiesta from the town hall balcony, followed by the traditional song and the devils' dance, and around 20:45 the foguerons (bonfires) are lit, with a correfoc (fire run) by the Sa Pedrera devils and grilling in front of the town hall. On the afternoon of the 17th, around 15:30, the beneïdes set off, with the banner and the old image of the saint, pets and farm animals; the Consell de Mallorca has asked for them to be listed as cultural heritage. Tip: on the 16th arrive before 20:00 to get a spot on the town hall square, and park on the outskirts, the centre fills up.
