Cala Murta and Cala Figuera (Formentor) in summer
In summer, don't drive to Cala Murta or Formentor's Cala Figuera: in 2026, from 15 May to 18 October, 10:00–22:00, the road from Formentor beach to the lighthouse is closed to private cars, and both coves are on that stretch. Don't count on parking on the Cala Murta track.
The practical option is TIB bus 334 (Alcúdia–Port de Pollença–Far de Formentor, every 35 minutes): it stops at «Cala Figuera–Cala Murta», the only stop between the beach and the lighthouse, and from there you walk down to the coves. You pay by card, not cash. You can also go by bike or on foot.
