Cocktails with a sea view
In the late afternoon, a cocktail looking out to sea is practically compulsory in Mallorca. There are cliff-top terraces, harbour bars with the boats in front of you, beach shacks with your feet in the sand and beach clubs playing soft music until the sun goes down. For the best light, sit down an hour before sunset: front-row tables go quickly and some places are worth booking. If it's windy, look for a sheltered terrace on the opposite coast. A cocktail with a view usually costs €12–18.
