Takeaway late at night
For a quick bite at odd hours, what works best in Mallorca are counter bars with a display case, burger places using island beef and sandwich and tortilla bars: almost all will pack something to take away if you ask at the bar, even if they don't advertise it. Call ahead if it's close to closing, as the kitchen usually shuts a little before the bar. In the capital and the big beach resorts, delivery apps also work until around midnight; in villages, after 10:30 pm it's hard to find anything open. A local classic to take away: a llonguet roll or a pa amb oli.
