Palma in 2 hours
Two hours is enough for the essentials if you walk and don't go inside everything. Start at the cathedral by the sea early on, when the light hits the façade, and climb into the lanes of the old quarter, where the real city is: stately patios, Gothic churches and traces of the Moorish era. Stop for a hot chocolate or an ensaimada in a historic café and head down towards the old port district, past palaces turned into art spaces. Pick just one place to visit inside and enjoy the rest in passing. Wear comfortable shoes: it's all slopes and cobbles.
