A beach for toddlers in the north
In the north, for a toddler, go to Playa de Muro, on the bay of Alcúdia: the water deepens very gradually and stays shallow along its whole length. In high season there are lifeguards 10:00–18:00, free toilets and showers, beach bars and sunloungers, and free parking at sectors I, II and Es Capellans. Without a car, buses 302, 315 and 324 stop there (S'Albufera 2 stop).
Two warnings: with waves or a red flag it isn't safe, even in August; and the Es Comú stretch has no facilities or parking nearby, so with a little one stick to the sectors with facilities.
