Mallorca's secret corners
Beyond the postcards, Mallorca has corners hardly anyone visits: stone hamlets at the foot of a gorge, Arab baths hidden in a garden, underground cisterns, watchtowers above the sea, caves without lights or music and farms where a grower shows you what they produce. Go on a weekday and early, and treat them for what they are: quiet places, sometimes on private land, with no room for big groups or noise. Park where you can without blocking tracks and respect the visiting hours.
