Rooftops with a view
The city's rooftops are the best place to watch evening fall over the roofs, the port and the bay. Most are on hotels in the old town and along the seafront, welcome non-guests and pair cocktails with something to nibble; some have a pool, DJ or live music. In summer they fill up at sunset: go up an hour early or book where you can, as they're small. Some close early, in the late afternoon, so check today's hours. Outside the city there are also a few rooftops with sea views.
