Sóller tunnel: is there a toll?

The Sóller tunnel has no toll: it has been free since late December 2017, when the Consell de Mallorca bought back the concession and lifted the barriers. In 2023 the Supreme Court upheld the annulment of that buyback, but the Consell announced it would keep the tunnel free for everyone, not just residents.

So there's no need to take the Coll de Sóller mountain road to save money: through the tunnel you drive from Palma to Sóller without paying. If you see a toll price somewhere, it dates from before 2018.
