A romantic dinner
For a romantic dinner in Mallorca, look for three things: a table outdoors, few people around and beautiful light. Gardens of old inland estates, terraces over the sea at sunset and candlelit old-town patios all work beautifully. Book and ask for the most secluded table, and if it's a special occasion, mention it when booking: many places take note. In summer the best time is just before sunset; in winter, a dining room with a fireplace. Here are our favourite places for it.
