Palma: Vespa 125 Rental for a Day Around the Island
An official 125cc Vespa for a whole day with unlimited mileage, picked up from a small shop in Palma (with the house dog thrown in, according to reviews). You get a helmet, a briefing and a digital map with routes, and from there it is up to you: the climb to Valldemossa and Deià, Sóller over the mountain pass or, if you are keen, all the way to Alcúdia. It uses very little fuel (one rider did Palma–Alcúdia–Sóller on €8 of petrol) and goes back with a full tank. The scooters are spotless and the handover is quick; one review finds the owner a bit curt. Note: out of season it has to be back earlier, at 5 pm.
