Sa Gubia Climbing

The island’s go-to climbing area in Bunyola: over 200 routes.

The big limestone amphitheatre you see from the Sóller road (Ma-11) near Bunyola, Mallorca's best-known climbing area. Its classic is the Albahida, or Gubia Normal: an 8-pitch ridge at a moderate grade (around 5b/HVS, depending on the guide), partly bolted, the most popular classic climb on the island. Nearby are sport sectors like Excalibur and Isla Bonita, and harder lines such as Supernova (7a).
