Cinema this afternoon

A cinema afternoon is a good plan if it rains, it's too hot or you just fancy a break. In Spain films are released dubbed into Spanish, but some cinemas show them in the original language with subtitles: look for «V.O.S.E.» or «V.O.» in the listings. The city's independent cinema shows arthouse films, classics and new releases in the original version almost every day; the multiplexes in the shopping centres have more showings and the odd one in V.O. Buy your ticket on the cinema's website to choose your seat, especially at weekends, and arrive ten minutes early.
