Park in Deià

Parking in Deià is very difficult, especially from 11 am to 5 pm: there are only a few small car parks spread along the road through the village, and they fill up fast.

Local tip: if you don't arrive before 9:30 am, don't circle the centre. Take the first free space as you enter the village and walk a few minutes. Never park on a yellow line or in residents' streets: towing and fines are common.

Deià's car parks are small: one at the entrance to the village on Carrer de l'Arxiduc Lluís Salvador, with room for only a few cars, and S'Empeltada, by the road, a quarter of an hour's walk from the centre. For Cala Deià there's another car park at the bottom of the road down, with very few spaces: the 'spaces free' sign isn't always right, and if it's full there's no easy place to turn. At busy times it's better to walk down from the village, about 30 minutes.

The calmest alternative is to leave the car behind and arrive on TIB bus 203, which links Palma, Valldemossa, Deià, Sóller and Port de Sóller along the Ma-10. If you carry on by car to Sóller, remember that central Sóller has been a low emission zone since February 2026: rental cars that aren't electric can't enter, so park on the outskirts.
