The giants of the Colla Gegantera d’Alcúdia

The giant figures of the Colla Gegantera d’Alcúdia take centre stage in Alcúdia’s old town on 26 September 2027. Their gathering begins at 17:15 in Plaza Carles V, followed by a festive procession through the town. Giant figures are part of Mallorca’s festive culture, and this event offers a chance to see that tradition in a public square rather than behind a display case. Start at Plaza Carles V to watch the gathering, then follow the procession as it moves through Alcúdia. It’s a welcoming way to spend an afternoon in the old town.
