Botiga Can Paner

Can Paner is an old-fashioned general store, opened in 1941 by Llorenç Pons and Margalida Aguiló. Today it's run by the family's third generation, sisters Francisca and Margalida Cifre Pons. It's recognised as one of the Balearic Islands' Emblematic Shops and keeps its original façade and atmosphere. It's the kind of shop that has "a bit of everything": fruit and veg, bread, freshly cut cured meats and cheeses, Mallorcan products, haberdashery, household goods and loose spices blended in the shop. It's a little time capsule and a great place to discover traditional Mallorcan shopping.
