Weekly Market Alcúdia

On Tuesday and Sunday mornings the market fills the streets of Alcúdia's walled old town. There is local fruit and veg, sobrassada and other cured meats, cheese, olives and ensaïmadas, plus palm-leaf baskets, ceramics, clothes and souvenirs. Go early, before ten: after that it fills up with people coming from the beaches of the port. If you drive, park outside the walls and walk in; afterwards the town walls and the Porta de Sant Sebastià are right there.
