White sand and shallow water facing Na Guardis islet, Cabrera beyond
View in the app · free, no sign-upThe beach on the south side of Colònia de Sant Jordi, past the harbour: about 350 metres of fine white sand with dunes, scrub and a pine wood behind, which gives the only shade. The water is very shallow (barely two metres deep 100 metres out), so it fills up with families who summer in the Colònia, many from Palma, Ses Salines and Llucmajor. Some 300 metres offshore lies the islet of Na Guardis, with Phoenician remains and Punic and Roman wrecks that draw divers, and on the horizon, Cabrera. It shares a Blue Flag with Platja des Port.
