Parking in Port de Pollença

In Port de Pollença the seafront and the streets by the harbour fill up in summer, and much of it is paid parking. The easiest option is to leave the car in the car parks on the streets behind the promenade or by the quay and get around on foot: the town is flat and the pine-lined Passeig Vora Mar is made for walking.

Local tip: if you're heading to Formentor, leave the car here and take the shuttle bus in season. For the Bóquer valley walk, there's a car park on the camí de Bóquer, next to the start of the trail.

The option few people know is the service road of the Ma-2200, the road into town from Pollença, and the ring road around the town: according to the DGT's 2026 guide, parking there is free. From those streets the promenade is ten minutes' walk away, and the stops for bus 334 to Formentor (Port de Pollença, Bóquer and Can Singala) are close by. By the harbour and the seafront there's paid parking, which in July and August fills up by mid-morning.

If you plan to drive up to Formentor, bear in mind that from 15 May to 18 October, 10:00 to 22:00, the road closes at km 2 when the beach car park is full, and only the bus goes on to the lighthouse. The calmest option is to park in the Port and take the shuttle. For lunch on the promenade or a walk to Sa Punta de l'Avançada, park in the morning and leave the car there all day.
