Getting around
Parking in Port de Sóller
Along the seafront in Port de Sóller almost everything is paid parking, and in summer it's full by mid-morning. The easiest option is to head straight for a car park: the Lepant building, the largest, or the ones at the entrance to the port.
Local tip: if you're staying in Sóller or spending the day there, leave the car in town and take the tram down; it stops right on the promenade. And don't park in residents' streets or on yellow lines: the police do fine.
The car park on Carrer Lepant (Lepanto) has the longest hours: in high season, from 1 March to 15 November, it is paid every day from 07:00 to 22:00, while the blue-zone streets and car parks in the port are paid from 10:00 to 19:00. From 16 November to the end of February there is no blue zone in the port. Spaces marked in green are for registered residents only, even when they are empty.
To get there, follow the road to the port without driving into Sóller town: since February 2026 it has been a camera-controlled low emission zone, and a rental car that is not electric may not enter (minimum fine €200). If you overstay in the blue zone, you can cancel the ticket within 48 hours by paying €10 at the machine (€20 if you did not display a ticket). In summer, arrive before 10:00 or take TIB bus 203, which links Palma with the port via Valldemossa and Deià.
