Felanitx and Portocolom
Felanitx is inland and Portocolom is its fishing harbour: together they fill a whole day.
In the morning, Felanitx:
- Santuari de Sant Salvador: on top of the mountain, with one of the best views in Mallorca; on clear days you can see as far as the Bay of Alcúdia.
- Castell de Santueri: a castle on a crag of the Serra de Llevant, with dizzying drops.
- For lunch in the centre: Batec, Mallorcan cooking with a modern touch on Plaça d'Espanya, or Pax Gastrobar, on Plaça Pax.
In the afternoon, Portocolom:
- Colourful boats in the harbour, and fish or rice at S'Arenal Portocolom, facing the bay and the lighthouse.
- Cala Sa Nau, with its beach bar right on the sand.
Tip: Sunday is market day in Felanitx. If you play golf, Vall d'Or Golf is on the road from Portocolom to Cala d'Or.
