Llucmajor and Cap Blanc
South of Palma, Llucmajor has a coast of cliffs and an inland of farms:
On the coast:
- Mirador des Balconet: a natural balcony over the cliffs of Cala Pi.
- Cala Pi: a very narrow inlet between cliffs and pines that ends in white sand. Next to it, Cala Beltràn, small and hidden.
- Refugi de s'Àguila: a simple beach bar by the Cap Blanc cliffs.
- Cala Blava: little coves and rock platforms reached by steps cut into the stone.
History and farms:
- Talaiots de Capocorb Vell: a well-preserved Talaiotic village by the road, north of Cala Pi.
- Son Mut Nou: a farm with more than a thousand varieties of fig tree.
- Fresopolis: a farm school on the edge of Llucmajor for picking strawberries with the family.
For a special meal by the sea, Sea Club at Cap Rocat, an old fortress on the Bay of Palma.
