Porto Cristo: Paint Your Own Frida Kahlo with Christiane

A painting workshop for people who have never held a brush, in the studio of Christiane, a German artist with a gallery in Porto Cristo. In about three hours you paint your own Frida Kahlo portrait in acrylics, step by step: she explains the sketch, the colour mixing and the shading, and helps you whenever you get stuck. Groups are tiny (often just one couple), with coffee, water and a glass of cava or wine, and you take the painting home. Reviews mostly praise how well she teaches and the relaxed atmosphere: 'even if you can't paint, the result is lovely'. A good plan for a cloudy morning or afternoon on the east coast, or as something to do as a couple.
