Palma Aquarium
Big Palma aquarium with sharks and kids’ play areas; pricey, extras cost more.
View in the app · free, no sign-upMallorca's big aquarium, on Playa de Palma, five minutes' drive from the airport, with its own foundation working on marine conservation. The route runs from the Mediterranean to tropical coral reefs, through a jellyfish room and an immersive whale exhibition, and ends at the Big Blue, one of the deepest shark tanks in Europe. Halfway round you step out into Mediterranean gardens with sea turtles, sharks and rays, and a small jungle with a seven-metre waterfall. With kids it's a safe bet whether it's raining or scorching: there are indoor and outdoor play areas and, since 2026, a water play zone. The downsides: tickets are pricey (€30.50 adults, €19.50 ages 3 to 12; residents €20 and €13), the 3D cinema, the shark boat and other experiences cost extra, and it gets crowded in high season.
