Mallorca with kids

Mallorca is very family friendly. Some ideas that always work:

• Sandy beaches with shallow water: Alcúdia, Platja de Muro, Port de Pollença, Cala Mondragó or Sa Coma.
• Animals and nature: Palma Aquarium, Safari Mallorca, Natura Parc or the birds of s'Albufera.
• Adventure: Jungle Parc (treetop courses), the Caves of Drach with their lake, or Dinosaurland next to the Caves of Hams.
• Water parks (seasonal): Western Water Park, Hidropark Alcúdia or Aqualand El Arenal.
• Charming outings: the Sóller train and the tram down to the port, or a glass-bottom boat trip.

Tips: avoid the strongest sun (12-5 pm) in summer, bring hats and sunscreen, and if the weather turns, caves and the aquarium are the best plan B.
