Mallorca's caves: which one to choose

Mallorca has several show caves, each with its own style:

• Caves of Drach (Porto Cristo): the most famous, with Lake Martel and a classical music concert on boats. A must, but very busy.
• Caves of Hams (Porto Cristo): smaller, with a light and projection show.
• Coves d'Artà (Canyamel): huge, spectacular chambers with an entrance overlooking the sea; for many, the most impressive in their natural state.
• Coves de Campanet: quiet and authentic, surrounded by countryside, ideal to escape the crowds.
• Coves de Gènova (Palma): small, 10 minutes from the centre, a good plan with kids.

Inside it's about 20 °C all year round: a great plan for hot or rainy days. Book a timed ticket in high season.
