Caves of Campanet

The Coves de Campanet are the caves locals prefer to the famous ones: no coloured lights or music, just stalactites and silence. They were discovered in 1945 while searching for water, in the Sant Miquel valley. Visitors praise their authenticity, seeing the formations calmly without crowds, knowledgeable guides in many languages, a €3 audio guide and a terrace with views for a drink. Some recent reviews complain about the entry, about €17 for a roughly 20-minute visit, some staff's attitude and café prices.
