Inca and the Raiguer
The Raiguer is the strip of villages at the foot of the Tramuntana, between Palma and Inca: leather country, old wine cellars and D.O. Binissalem wine.
- Inca: the town of leather and cellers. Wood-oven ensaimadas at Forn de Sant Francesc and, in the evening, the Teatre Principal, from 1914.
- Lloseta: the grocer's Botiga Ca'n Carrina (since 1947) and Mediterranean cooking with island produce at Es Garum.
- Santa Maria del Camí: hand-woven llengües fabrics at Artesania Tèxtil Bujosa, pottery at Katinaria and small wineries such as Celler Ramanyà and 7103 Petit Celler.
- Binissalem: Bodega Sa Cabana, among almond trees and vines.
- Campanet: the Coves de Campanet, with no coloured lights or music, and, only after heavy rain, Ses Fonts Ufanes, water bursting out of the ground in a holm-oak wood.
Tip: Thursday is market day in Inca. Book winery visits in advance.
