A day in Escorca
What to do in Escorca in one day, in the order that makes sense: Lluc Botanical Garden, Es Guix and Sa Calobra & Torrent de Pareis. With the times, the journeys and what it costs.
The times are planned for a Saturday in november, with sunset at 17:42: every place is open when you arrive, according to its hours. They change with the season and we review the plan every week.
Morning to mid-afternoon
Views in the morning, an unhurried lunch and the afternoon by the sea.

Viewpoint · EscorcaLluc Botanical GardenYou go in through the archway beside Ses Mides, about 70 metres from the Pilgrims' Square, and over a bridge; it closes at midday, so go in the morning or mid-afternoon. Half an hour is enough to walk round it, and it pairs well with the basilica.

Cove or beach · SóllerSa Calobra & Torrent de PareisArrive before 10 or late in the afternoon, and watch the signs on the road: if the car park shows full, do not drive down. Bring water shoes, a snorkel mask and some food. If that road does not appeal, come by boat from Port de Sóller.

Dinner · IncaCa Na TonetaBook on their website well ahead and mention allergies or dietary needs when you book, since there's a single menu. Arrive a little early to browse the shop and stroll around Caimari; parking in the centre is awkward, so leave the car at the edge of the village.
