A day in Muro
What to do in Muro in one day, in the order that makes sense: S'Albufera Natural Park, Ponderosa Beach and Platja de Muro. With the times, the journeys and what it costs.
The times are planned for a Saturday in november, with sunset at 17:42: every place is open when you arrive, according to its hours. They change with the season and we review the plan every week.
Morning to mid-afternoon
Views in the morning, an unhurried lunch and the afternoon by the sea.

Hike · MuroS'Albufera Natural ParkThe Sa Roca reception centre is open daily from 9am to 4pm: pick up the free permit there and go early, before the hides fill up. Bring binoculars, water, something to eat and mosquito repellent. Winter and migration seasons bring the widest variety of birds.

Lunch · MuroPonderosa BeachBook well ahead on their website, especially for weekends, and ask for a front-row table on the sand. In summer car access to the beach-hut area is restricted: park in the resort and allow about seven minutes on foot. Dogs are welcome.

Cove or beach · MuroPlatja de MuroFor the stretch without hotels, head south to the Es Comú dunes along the boardwalks: there are no beach bars or parasols, so bring water and shade. Pair it with s'Albufera, right across the road, early in the morning or late afternoon, when you see the most birds.
It opens in the app with the map and the routes, and stays in My trip. No sign-up.
