Gerreria Serra
Pottery run by four Serra siblings, with clay gutters and an old clay mill
View in the app · free, no sign-upThe Serra family pottery, on the old Palma–Inca road as it passes Santa Maria del Camí. It was founded over a century ago by Miquel Serra Oliver and Francisca Roig, and today four siblings from the fourth generation run it: Miquel, Toni, Pep and Maria. They started with wheel-thrown jugs, vats, troughs and the basins used for making sobrassada; now they're known for red-clay gutters and downpipes finished by hand, and they sell planters, lamps, oil cruets, siurells and plates hand-painted by Maria. Inside the shop there's an old trull, an animal-driven mill that once ground the clay.
