Mallorca month by month
Mallorca in June
The sea is inviting, the sun sets after nine and Sant Joan night is spent on the beach: summer starts.
In June, Palma has an average high of 29 °C and an average low of 20 °C, the sea is around 24 °C and it rains on about 5 days (averages 2016–2025).
Summer starts in June: the sea quickly warms to around 24 °C, the sun sets after nine in the evening and the terraces stay full until late. It is busy, but less than in July and August, and you can still find room in the coves if you go early. A good month for boat trips, dinner with your feet in the sand and sunsets.
The night of 23 June is the Nit de Sant Joan: Palma has concerts and fire, and many people head to the beach for dinner and a first midnight swim. At the end of the month the fishing ports celebrate Sant Pere with processions at sea, such as Port d'Alcúdia's. Lifeguards and beach flags start on the big beaches.
