ABA Art Lab
The Bordoy sisters' gallery facing Es Baluard, with a new artist each season
View in the app · free, no sign-upABA Art's gallery sits on Plaça de la Porta de Santa Catalina, right opposite Es Baluard. Sisters Maribel and Alejandra Bordoy Bennàsar have run it since 2004, after directing Galería Camba; Alejandra, an art historian, co-wrote the catalogue raisonné of the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró collection. Every three months a new artist takes over its numbered Project Room, a series that began in 2014 and is now on number 42: a long white room with a pale floor and work made for the space. Until December 2026 it shows Tatiana Sarasa's 'Ocre et lait'.
