The terrace is on Plaça de Sant Joan in the centre of Son Servera, shaded by trees and a few metres from the Església Nova, with its bells marking the hours. Gozo is a gastrobar with a very long menu, homemade cooking with a modern twist and the feel of a small family place. The croquetas are the first thing to order, especially the seafood ones and the smoked chargrilled-chicken ones with ham; then the El Gozo burger, with good beef and crispy bacon, or the boned pork knuckle with fig jam, which falls apart. There's also squid with kimchi sauce, black squid-ink brioche and llonguets, the Mallorcan bread roll. The dessert everyone recommends is the white chocolate cheesecake, with the brownie and pistachio ice cream close behind. On weekday lunchtimes there's a set menu, the cheapest way in, and in the mornings they do breakfast and brunch, with bagels, toasts and pancakes. Dogs are welcome and it's easy with children. A good stop after the Vía Verde greenway that passes through the village.
