View in the app · free, no sign-upThe shop of Licors Moyà, the liqueur house the Moyà family founded in Artà in 1890, now run jointly by the fifth and sixth generations. This is where you buy the island's classic liqueurs, made in the town itself: dry, sweet and mixed herbes (theirs are made by macerating, one by one, eight aromatic plants sown and harvested in Artà), palo made from cinchona and gentian with caramelised sugar, almond liqueur, and Mescladís de Matances, a mix of anise and palo that used to be drunk with the early-morning coffee at the winter pig slaughters. They aren't expensive: in their online shop a 70 cl bottle of dry herbes is €12.20 and palo €11.40. It also sells wines and other spirits. The downsides: it's a small shop, the distillery doesn't offer tours on its website, and it closes on Saturday afternoons and Sundays.
