Santa Catalina Market
Fresh local produce and seafood; authentic tapas bars for a true local taste.
The neighbourhood market of Santa Catalina, about a 10-15 minute walk from central Palma. It's small but has everything: fruit and vegetables, flowers, meat, charcuterie, wine and fish, with the freshest produce on the island. What people love most are its tapas bars, always lively and full of locals, and the fact that some stalls will cook what you've just bought. Many visitors prefer it to the bigger, busier Olivar market: this one is more manageable and cosy.
