Finca Treurer: Grove-to-Table Olive Oil Tour & Tasting

A visit to Treurer, an olive estate between Algaida and Llucmajor that makes its own extra virgin olive oil. You walk through the olive grove, go into the small mill to see how the oil is made 'from tree to table', and finish with a tasting where you learn to tell a good extra virgin from other oils, with a spread of Mallorcan products and local wine. It is a relaxed, small-group visit on a beautiful estate; people mostly praise the guide and the tasting. The downside: there is little walking in the fields, it is more explanation than stroll. A good plan for a morning away from the beach.
