Alma Rooftop (Es Príncep)
A rooftop on the old city walls with Cathedral and bay views.
View in the app · free, no sign-upThe rooftop of Es Príncep, a boutique hotel on Carrer de Bala Roja at the edge of the old town, next to the Príncep bastion. From up here you see the whole city: the Cathedral to one side, the bay and the port in front, the rooftops of the centre all around. It runs from morning to night. Early on there's the hotel breakfast and brunch, which people who aren't staying also come up for; from late afternoon it fills with those who've come for a cocktail (mojitos and the house cocktails are the most ordered) and the sunset over the bay. Food is tapas and sharing plates, and on special dates such as Christmas they do set menus with a Mallorcan accent. It isn't cheap, and what you're paying for is mostly the view: the cooking is decent and nicely presented, but it isn't the reason to come. Vegetarian options are thin. The rooftop pool belongs to the hotel.
