Golf de Andratx

An 18-hole course in the hills above Camp de Mar, opened in 2000 and designed by Gleneagles Golf Development. It's one of the toughest on the island: seven lakes, four par 5s and a lot of climbing through pine woods. Hole 6, the 'Green Monster', is a 609-metre par 5 from the championship tee, and from the 8th, 'Eine Liebe auf Mallorca', you look over the bay of Camp de Mar. After the 8th there's a shady halfway house with Mallorcan tapas, and the clubhouse is Campino, the Italian restaurant Pino Persico opened with the course, now run by his nephew Luigi Capalbo.
