The counter holds bread, cakes and pastries, and you can also have breakfast or an afternoon snack there. It's best known for its ensaimadas, for many among the best in Mallorca, and the sobrasada one is very good too. The service, described by many as excellent and helpful, has drawn some complaints in recent years.
