Restaurante Miró
Mediterranean food among Miró works at La Residencia, Deià.
View in the app · free, no sign-upLa Residencia, Belmond’s hotel in Deià, occupies stone manor houses on the mountainside, and its link with the artists who passed through the village is visible everywhere. The Miró, now Restaurante Miró, is the relaxed side of its kitchen, next to the fine-dining El Olivo, and takes its name from Joan Miró because a selection of the painter’s work hangs on its walls. It’s open all day, from lunch to dinner, with a Mediterranean menu mixing local and international dishes meant for sharing, house cocktails and a bar of its own. The terrace is the best part: it faces the Tramuntana and Deià’s terracotta rooftops, and at sunset it’s one of the good spots in the village for a drink. For non-residents, it’s the way to see the hotel, look at the Mirós and sit with that view without committing to El Olivo’s tasting menu. It’s a luxury-hotel restaurant with luxury-hotel prices and a calm atmosphere; dress is casual.
