Archduke's Path
The Archduke’s dry-stone path, hanging above the sea.
View in the app · free, no sign-upThe Camí de s'Arxiduc is the dry-stone path Archduke Ludwig Salvator had built in the late 19th century along the ridges above Valldemossa and Deià, part of the GR 221. It has a very good TripAdvisor score, where hikers praise dizzying views of Sa Foradada, Son Marroig and the bays of Deià, Port de Sóller and Palma, the ancient holm-oak woods, old charcoal pits, wild goats and shady picnic spots on the cliff edge. It's medium difficulty: about 11 km and 4 hours round trip from Valldemossa.
