Sa Foradada
Deià’s holed rock, with one of the island’s most famous sunsets.
View in the app · free, no sign-upThe peninsula below Son Marroig, between Valldemossa and Deià, with a huge hole through the rock that gives it its name (foradada means 'pierced'). Archduke Ludwig Salvator, who owned Son Marroig, made it his favourite spot. You see it from the Son Marroig viewpoint or by walking down the estate track to the sea, where a restaurant with its own little jetty serves paella by the water and also takes in people arriving by boat.
