Son Marroig

The Archduke’s house, with its marble temple facing Sa Foradada.

Son Marroig is Archduke Ludwig Salvator's former house between Valldemossa and Deià, now a museum on his life and work, with a white marble temple perched over the cliff. It has one of the most impressive views of the Tramuntana and the northwest coast, and a romantic garden you cross before reaching the temple. From here you can see the whole of Sa Foradada. It's also used for weddings, with spectacular sunsets.
