Cala en Basset Watchtower

An old watchtower above Cala en Basset, near Sant Elm on the island's southwest tip. You reach it on foot along a path of about an hour that some hikers rank among the most beautiful in Mallorca. There are stretches where you scramble over rock, some with chains to hold on to, but it's doable with a normal level of fitness. From the top you look over the bay and across to Sa Dragonera.
