Vins Miquel Gelabert

Miquel Gelabert was running the Cas Patró Miquel restaurant in Cala Millor when, in 1985, he started making wine as a hobby with his wife, Maria Miquel; today it's a small family winery, no. 3 in the D.O. Pla i Llevant, with 9 hectares across eleven plots in Manacor, Felanitx and Petra, no bought-in grapes and wild yeasts. He helped bring back the Gorgollassa grape. Tastings aren't in the vineyard but at the bodega in central Manacor: 6 or 7 wines with homemade snacks and the 1909 underground cellar where the reds age.
