Palma in one day

A day in Palma goes a long way if you start early:

  • Morning: the Cathedral (La Seu) and the Almudaina Palace, then wander the old quarter: the Arab Baths, the stately courtyards, the Basilica of Sant Francesc and hot chocolate with an ensaimada at Ca'n Joan de s'Aigo.
  • Midday: stroll down the Born to La Lonja (Sa Llotja) and have lunch in Santa Catalina or at the Olivar market.
  • Afternoon: Es Baluard museum, with views from its ramparts, or go up to Bellver Castle.
  • Sunset: walk or cycle along the Passeig Marítim and have dinner in the old town.

Palma is very walkable; leave the car in a car park and take the EMT bus to Bellver.
