Es Baluard Museum
Art in a 16th-century fortress: terraces with bay and Cathedral views.
View in the app · free, no sign-upPalma’s museum of modern and contemporary art, opened in 2004 inside the Renaissance bastion of Sant Pere, in the city walls. The collection grew out of the Fundació d'Art Serra and includes Miró, Picasso and Barceló alongside Balearic and Mediterranean artists of the 20th and 21st centuries. The best part is how it blends fortress and new architecture: outdoor sculptures, a 1640 cistern turned gallery, and terraces on the walls looking over the port, the bay and the Cathedral.
