Brassclub is a classic cocktail bar on Passeig de Mallorca in central Palma, a few minutes from the Born. It was opened in 2013 by Rafa Martín, a Salamanca-born bartender who took bronze at the 2012 cocktail world championship in Beijing, with New York's clubs as the model. The first thing you notice is the ceiling, made of more than 3,000 hanging bottles. The menu, which the team rewrites twice a year, mixes precisely made classics with house cocktails built on seasonal island ingredients (citrus, herbs, figs, almonds), and there's a house gin, Sa Roqueta. Signature drinks run to about €13–16. It opens from early evening, with a soundtrack leaning towards jazz.
