Ses Païsses Talayotic Settlement
View in the app · free, no sign-upA Talayotic settlement on the outskirts of Artà, among trees that give welcome shade in summer. The most impressive parts are the Cyclopean wall and the entrance gate, made of three huge hewn stones. Entry is cheap and you get a leaflet, with a good English translation, to hand back when you leave. Often you have it almost to yourself. That said, if archaeology isn't your thing it may look like a pile of stones, and some miss drawings or models of what the village looked like.
